PSYCHOTHERAPIST (Qualifying), LISTENER, & COLLABORATOR
Hey there, I’m Lianne
As someone who loves people and is naturally curious about them, I can meet them where they are to help them navigate to where they want to be. Whether you are struggling with low self-esteem, depression, conflict in your relationships or trying to manage life while dealing with a traumatic past, I strive to provide a safe space to explore, navigate, and challenge the beliefs that limit you and the fears that hold you back. I love to be a cheerleader and find strengths in people, and I believe in the transformative potential of our work together, guiding you towards the life you want.
After spending almost two decades working with children and trauma, then homelessness, addictions, mental health and corrections, I recognized the impact of trauma over a lifetime and the need for people to have more support and less judgement. With that concept in mind, I set out to complete my education as a certified life coach, continued with forensic psychology and criminology, and then moved on to a degree in psychotherapy. Armed with that knowledge and a lifetime of experiences, I bring an eclectic collection of modalities to tailor a therapy experience to match the needs of my clients. If you feel you can benefit from a warm, caring safe space that is truly non-judgmental and accepting, feel free to reach out for a free intake session to see if we are a good fit to move forward in your journey.
Counselling is proven to be one of the most effective strategies for helping with most mental health and interpersonal challenges.
