Hey there, I’m Lianne
I provide online psychotherapy to clients across Ontario and, where permitted, in other Canadian provinces. As someone who loves people and is naturally curious about their stories, I strive to meet you where you are and help you navigate toward where you want to be. Whether you are managing the demands of a high-responsibility or high-stress career, burnout, low self-esteem, depression, relationship conflict, or the lasting effects of difficult or traumatic experiences, I aim to provide a warm, safe, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences, challenge the beliefs that limit you, and work through the fears that may be holding you back. I love being a cheerleader for my clients and helping them recognize the strengths they already carry. I believe in the transformative potential of our work together and in supporting you as you move toward the life you want.
After spending almost two decades supporting children and families and working in areas including trauma, homelessness, addictions, mental health, and corrections, I came to understand how deeply trauma can affect people throughout their lives and how important it is for people to receive more support and less judgement. That understanding inspired me to become a Certified Professional Coach, earn an honours degree in forensic psychology and criminology, and complete a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Drawing on this education, my professional experience, and a lifetime of personal experiences, I use an integrative range of therapeutic approaches to tailor therapy to each client’s needs. If you are looking for a warm, caring, and truly non-judgemental space, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. We can discuss what you are looking for, determine whether we may be a good fit, and consider the next step in your journey.
Counselling can provide a supportive space to better understand mental health and interpersonal challenges, develop helpful coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change.
